I have been traveling to Ocean City since I was in diapers and have stayed in many places, some nice and some not so nice. I\'ve stayed in a lot of hotels up and down the boardwalk as well as some of the higher end hotels like the Princess Royale and the Holiday Inn on the Boardwalk but our family\'s budget in recent years has put us in a position where we have felt the need to choose smaller and more budget priced hotels and motels. This has often compromised amenities, service, and yes even cleanliness and we have never found a place to return to year after year. Well, our mission was accomplished during our recent stay at the Dunes Motel!

I just recently got married and this was my first trip to Ocean City with my wife. My parents also joined us on this trip for a few days and we were able to find two rooms at the Dunes Motel for a week last minute within our price range. We stayed in the West/Poolside building where the rooms have been recently renovated and they did an excellent job. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the basics that you\'ll need for a week at the beach including a microwave and refrigerator, plenty of storage space, and a small but clean bathroom with plenty of fresh towels. The staff at the Dunes is extremely friendly and polite from the desk staff to the maids.

This motel is always clean and neat. The management is also wonderful.
I have never had a bad visit.

We chose this hotel based on price and reviews solely!! We were going to the beach for one night and were not looking to spend a lot of money. The hotel was the cheapest for the night ! We were shocked as the room was oceanfront and even had a mini kitchenette in it! The reviews were mixed so we were kinda iffy but figured what the hech and booked it anyway!

Upon arrival the staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and orderly. The room had a huge window overlooking the ocean. the kitchen area was small but would take care of your needs. The fridge/freezer was full size!! The bathroom was spottless and Im picky about hotel bathrooms! The sheets were clean! No sign of bedbugs anywheres. The balcony was larger than expected!!

We chose this motel based on other reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed! We arrived before our room was ready, but were given a parking pass right away. When we did get to our room (we had the oceanfront efficiency) the first thing we noticed was the clean, clean smell of the room. There was ample space for us and our two kids (11 years and 9 months). The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with clean, crisp sheets. The location was fantastic...being at the very end of the boardwalk and across the street from Jolly Roger, it was very convenient to just about everything, yet much quieter and less crowded than the hotels further up the boardwalk. The pool was small yet clean and never got too crowded. The employees were exceptionally nice at the front desk. We're already planning on coming down again next summer...and we will be staying at the Dunes!
